COMPETITION CHALLENGE:
· ► The Fresh Connection is a manufacturing business which sells into retailers
· ►4 Directors form a team: Operations, Purchasing, Supply Chain and Sales
· ►Teams take strategic and tactical decisions to improve performance and ROI
· ►The simulated business environment incorporates industry experiences, supply chain theory, a wealth of data, KPIs, changing business dynamics and financial factors.
COMPETITION STRUCTURE:
· 2 Entry Options:
►Teams compete in intense 2 Day Competitions across the UK on a range of dates
►Compete online over 12 weeks to a fixed schedule, starting in March 2012
· ►All teams participate in the UK National Final on 13th June, in association with the CILT
· ►The team with the highest ROI = UK SCALA Fresh Connection Champions 2012
· ►Winners then represent the UK at the International Finals in Barcelona on 14 September!
